From October 30 - November 4, 2013, the first international Under 18 competition, the EDF Cup, was held in Paris, France. The tournament was hosted by the Federation Internationale de Powerchair Football Association (FIPFA). Six teams from around the world will represent their countries and showcase their developing talent. The tournament's goal is to give youth within the sport the opportunity to compete at the highest level in an international competition, and to prepare them for the future at a younger age.
